Hi, my name is Suwara Bodnok. I come from Thailand.I have been in China for four months now.
It's a very fun experience to be here which makes me happy. Studying at Hunan First Normal University has made my Chinese better and my English more confident. Because I met a lovely teacher who taught me how to pronounce (Chinese mandarin), writing, and grammar.
The teacher didn't have any pressure and taught us step by step. We went to places like Yuelu Mountain and various parks Including famous tourist attractions.
Studying here, I met a very close Chinese friend who taught me Chinese, and we went out to play together.
Studying here has also allowed me to meet friends from Algeria and Russia. Our life abroad has made us very close. I am truly happy. Studying here makes me feel grown up because we have to live our own lives and communicate with many people in Chinese. In school summer vacation, I went to a very interesting city. It was like finally stepping into my dream. Living in China made me feel good. This scholarship application was a very open experience for me. Living in China is not as difficult as I imagined because of convenient transportation and if sometimes we don't understand, we just use English, translation and sign language.

I feel that it’s so good that I’ve been here. I’ve done many things that I’ve never done before, made new friends who are Chinese, Algerian, Russian and friends from Malaysia. The people here are very cute and kind, ready to help me all the time. The food is delicious. There are lovely roommates. There are many activities to do here. I am very impressed with the people here and I also have a lot of experience from here as well.
