High School Diploma or above

     Chinese language and Chinese  culture   related courses

Undergraduate

    High School Diploma or above;       HSK level 4 or above

34 undergraduate majors


Scholarship

Students with excellent academic achievements receive half to full exemption of tuition.

Students who excel academically in each semester receive half to full exemption of tuition for next semester.


List of Forms and Documents for Application

1. International Student Application Form (in Attachment);

2. diploma and transcript of the highest education (clearly copied or scanned);

3. copy of certificate of Han yu Shui ping Kao shi(HSK)(If any);

4. copy of passport;

5. copy of the most recent visa to China and copy of the stamp of entry and exit if the applicant has once visited China;

6. health certificate issued by foreign health and medical institutions certified by Chinese embassies and consulates stationed abroad;

7. certificate of No Criminal Record;

8. one electronic photograph (the same size as passport photo);

9. other materials requested

(Applicants need to send the required forms and documents to gjc@hnfnu.edu.cn. The Office of International Cooperation & Exchanges will contact the applicants who meet our requirements within 10 business days.)


Courses

Compulsory: Chinese Intensive Reading, Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing,  HSK Tutoring, etc. (about 30 class hours every week)

Optional : Chinese History, Chinese Culture, Traditional Chinese Calligraphy and Painting, Chinese Characters Writing, Chinese Kong Fu (including shadow boxing), Folk Music and Traditional Dance, Tourism Culture,  Mandarin Phonetics, etc.


Visa Application

Each applicant for a visa for China must submit Admission Notice of Hunan First Normal University and Visa Application Form for International Students to Study in China (JW202) to the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in his or her country. If the planned study period in China is over 6 months, please apply for "X" visa (student visa).
